THE DEW OF HERMON (Wednesday 11th December, 2013)
Isa 8:9-10
Associate yourselves, O ye
people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far
countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves,
and ye shall be broken in pieces.
Take counsel together, and it
shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with
us.

When God is with you it does not
matter how many people assemble themselves against you, their plan can never
stand. They may assemble and you may not stop their assembly but God will
surely stop them for your sake. They gird themselves with strength but they
will be broken in pieces. They take counsel on how to tackle you but it will
end up as exercise in futility for your sake. Their words will mean nothing for
God is on your side. You are protected on every side. SHALOM!
