Gov. Fashola Commissions Cassava Flour Factory

Gov. Fashola also commissioned a 50, 000 capacity automated five unit broiler houses, 64 tonnes per day feedmills, 200 unit of two bedroom apartment for farmers and 2.34 kilometre road network, within the Agricultural Training Institute, Araga, Epe.

The Governor made a speech at the graduation ceremony of 286 trainee farmers and the inauguration ceremony of the projects at the Agric Training Institute, Araga, Epe.
He said that the factory could produce 32 tonnes of cassava flour per day. These developments proved the solution to increased food production locally was about developing new ideas that will create opportunities for the citizens.
Gov. Fashola added that there was no simple solution to the problem but, what was required from Lagosians and of Nigerians in the whole, “is to continuously be innovative, focus, truthful and honest about what we are doing”.
